Regret
i find my
way home
quickly
walking
precariously
over stones of
remembrance
famine
has overcome me
and you
the storehouses of Egypt
you take my hand
and my skin
stops peeling
itself on the inside
your eyes unveiled in evening
and i
with my mouth of words
say all the wrong things
because
i do not like the darkness which overtakes me
(i do not dislike the darkness which overtakes me)
we lay awake in the night
longing meets yearning
you touch my hair
lightly
a tear
silently
sending
one
little
white
flag
i.am.in.here.i.hear.you.i.am
.sorry.please.please.
